Quick question guys, I've never let my herb sit out for more than a couple of days. I have some bud that I would like to save for about 2 weeks from now, and I was wondering if anything happens after a week, does it lose any quality, will it get too dried? I'm keeping it in a pill bottle if that matters.

A pill bottle can work, yeah. I usually swear by mason jars. (like the kind of jars that people use to store homemade jelly, pickles and such)

They're completely airtight, and bud has definitely lasted on me for a couple of weeks inside of one. I don't know how long it'll store in there, but it didn't get dry after about two weeks when I stored an oz. in one.

Note: it was inside a plastic baggie in the jar, but it works amazingly well.

Additional Note: My buddy also uses the mason jar, and he doesn't use a baggie at all, now that I think about it. And he has a couple of buds in there he's had for about 3 weeks - he likes to save a bud from each oz. he buys, and they're in perfect condition - or were, as of yesterday.

So I'm guessing what you mean is the less air, the better?

Nah I'm not, I'm drug free nowadays. Been clean off all drugs for nearly 5 months (holy **** that's a long time when I write it out)

Oh yeah, for sure. If you were to leave it in a baggie that wasn't sealed well, even in a cool, dark place, it wouldn't last nearly as long.

I do think the pill bottle will work well for you, though. Just if you ever have any mason / canning jars lying around, it's worth a try at some point.
