My shame was lessened at the time because I was living at a University where I saw things and heard stories of things 100 times more shameful on a daily basis. But if that happened now I'd be much more embarrassed. It was more funny than anything to me.

@s_k
You kind of seem like a mom. Always worried about everyone. It's not an insult, but when my mom starts to worry about everything, I just tell her to chill out and just let life take it's course.

...
Is driving while while high the same as while driving drunk? (DUI?)

Nah, you don't want to know how I talk about people who drink & drive .
My mom would never talk like that. I practically call them potential murderers.
Drugs are the same to me.

Drugs seem a lot less "cool" when you end up in rehab.
Personal experience.

Drugs are cool. No amount of sad stories and Invervention episodes is going to change that fact.

Ummm also speaking of personal experience, drugs do NOT lose their allure after rehab. I've been an addict since I was fifteen years old, hospitalised three or four times because of my drug use and have lost several friends due to it. When you have a serious addiction, rehab doesn't lessen the craving for it, nor the previously mentioned allure.Drugs are the golden god. Drugs become your ****ing life force and the thing about drugs is that they won't ever leave you like people will. They become the reason for living. Addiction isn't conquered by one stint in rehab most times.I'm sure you were told this in rehab, but most addicts relapse.

I never thought they were cool anyway. But still, did rehab work out for you?

You want respect? Get off the internet.
I don't think drugs are cool, but ending up in rehab must be some hard stuff to deal with. What were you in for? If you don't mind talking about it.

That's why I don't plan on trying anything more than weed and shrooms. Don't wanna pay for rehab.
