Oh yeah, for sure. If you were to leave it in a baggie that wasn't sealed well, even in a cool, dark place, it wouldn't last nearly as long.

I do think the pill bottle will work well for you, though. Just if you ever have any mason / canning jars lying around, it's worth a try at some point.

I need some advice! I'm going to buy weed for the first time (I've always smoken with friends so I've never bought before). I know a friend who's got a friend who sells weed so it's supposed to be trustable, but just in case, is there anything I should take into account about the quality? Is there any type of weed you wouldn't recommend?
I don't want to ask my friends about all these cause I know they'll start parenting me and I don't really feel like it.

Before you buy it, ask your friend what he has. If the dealer knows you are a n00b, he will rip you off probably. If your friend can be trusted, have him buy it for you. I am guessing you are buying a gram... If he has mids, it should be like $10 a gram. If he has heds, it should be $20. I'm not in your area but that's a pretty standard thing.

mids are like the bottom of the weed ladder and heds are the top if you did not know. If there are stems and seeds and the bud isn't soft, it's mids. If it is seedless and just has the one stem, it's heds.

green and sticky is always good quality. Make sure it's buds and not broken up **** (shake). Also, a lot of seeds is a sign of a bad bag.

How much are you planning to buy?
Make sure you don't pull the money out first. If he sees you have more than $20, you just gave him an oppurtunity to rip you off. Go with your gut feeling, and what I always do is talk them down at least 2 bucks.

Funny thing actually, I learned a trick to see how many grams (or if at least one) you got.

Take a pencil, and tape it to a flat surface.
Get a standard 12 Inch ruler, and balance it evenly on the pencil.
Than, get a US Dollar Bill (seeing as you live in Argentina, I'm not sure if you would have access to one) or a normal size paper clip, and put it on one end.
Put your weed on the other end, and if it balances out, you got yourself a gram!

Very helpful when you don't have a digital scale.

ok so I'll take it into account, 20 dollars are about 80 pesos, and my friend has just told me it'd be about 100 so I'll try to negociate to 90 haha.

They're charging that for a gram?!

That's insane - I'd never look to pay more than $5 American for a gram, no more than $10 for headies, and that would still make me feel ripped off. I think maybe my hook-up's got me spoiled, though, but that for a gram still seems extreme.

Just got an ounce today for $150, and it weighed out so that the bag was fat. I was happy with that.
