No I understand how you feel. I really enjoy mushroom trips, but I've only ever done a small amount, usually 2 grams. I had a lot of precautions though my first time, like doing it on a day where I had absolutely nothing planned out, at the right time (around dusk in late October), and with the right people. Hell we even made sure the playlist was appropriate, it was like going in on training wheels while wearing a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, a cup, wrist guards, and water wings.

Very true. You can even get step-by-step instructional videos.
You can get grow kits on the web or make them yourself. And spors over the web too.
I've always wanted to do it, but never got around to it.

i always plan it out when i do it too. day tripping is pretty awesome too though(pack your sunglasses). and i love making trip playlists. music is usually playing throughout the trip for me.

Grow kits are usually way overpriced, though, and you can't really be certain that your product is sterile. It's actually pretty fun and a lot cheaper to do it yourself :)

what kind of yields did you end up with? how big of a growing chamber(terrarium?) did you use? where did you get the spores?

Most people will tell you to start with the pf tek and fruit in a shotgun chamber, but that sounded like a lot of work with so-so success rate, so I grew my cakes pf tek style and crumbled them into a mini monotub ala DocT's tek. I had a couple of cakes left over, so I put them into 3 liter bottles and left them to do their thing with minimal misting and fae. I haven't kept track of total yield, as we've been steadily consuming them :P probably around 1/2 ounce so far, but I'm in only in the middle of my first flush off. Oh, and only legal strains, of course. Shiitakes are delicious and fun to grow ;) no problems with trich or mold. Just remember that sterility is key

just got this new brand k2 KO(knockout?) fake pot. supposedly it is the best of the k2 brand, but all of it can work intensely so long as it is dosed correctly. i just took less than half i what i was taking with the other stuff and about the same high. and this stuff doesn't taste like ****.

I've really wanted to try that K2 stuff, but none of the headshops around here have it. All we have is the Sonic Spice and Amazing J's. I find the Sonic stuff more potent, but a gram is 20 bucks, however I can get two grams of Amazing J's for that 20 bucks. I don't really think the Amazing J's spice is as strong, but you end up getting more in any case. My only gripe with it is that it has long ass twigs and **** in it. However with both brands, I think it all depends on the stuff you take out. I've smoked bowls that did absolutely nothing for me, then smoke another one like an hour later and be tripping balls.
