Tried acid for the first time. Only did half a tablet (or whatever it's called) so the effects weren't as strong (I suppose). It was basically just like pot (much giggling was involved), only lasted longer. Granted, we also smoked a couple of joints so it was difficult to tell what was the effect of which. No hallucinations whatsoever. I guess it depends on the kind you get (although my friend tells me they only happen in higher dosages...:\ )

the only time i tried acid i took 1 hit and it didn't do anything. must have been some expired blotter or something. i haven't shroomed for over two years though. need to get on that...

There's only one kind of LSD.
The problem was probably the dosage. If you'd have had a full dose, there would be no comparison to weed coming from this post. Although LSD does make you laugh your balls off for no reason the first couple times.

Well LSD does lose potency if subjected to conditions not conducive to longevity... so expiry is certainly an option.
But still... if someone sold you expired acid.. you still got ripped off. ;)

Seconded. Either not enough to notice anything or it'd denatured in heat. You take one drop of fresh liquid and any suggestion that it has a relation to weed goes out the window for the next 6 hours ...

I dunno, my friends do a lot of acid and they do it because it's warm and giggly, not because they like to trip balls every time. Granted, they mostly do half or a quarter of a hit. Maybe we just have bad acid in Croatia. :\

And holy fuck, I'm not sure I wanna trip for 6 fucking hours...:| Getting very contradicting reports on this stuff.

Well, a full threshold dose would last around 5 or 6 hours and yes, you'll have visual and auditory hallucinations. It's not scary though (if you're around people you trust who'll keep things mellow). It's fun.
