Firstly, It's not a federally scheduled drug. It's only recently came into the spotlight. But while federal legislation crawls at a snail's pace, states themselves have been a bit quicker and some states have made state laws outlawing the substance.
So you'll see that in certain states, it's illegal to possess Salvia. Thus, sellers in places it's not illegal, won't ship to states where it is, because it'd be breaking the laws enforced in that state.
Secondly, no matter how low your dose, you will never fully know and come to terms with the realization of what full blown Salvia trips are like if you don't have one. No matter how close you try to edge to that cliff, you don't know what it's like until you jump off and experience the fall.
And the fall is so quick, and the impact so great, that you are mentally no longer a person with an identity. You are reduced to a mere awareness, and the things you see are not describable in words.
It all happens in about 5 minutes. And you come out of it with absolutely no hangover when the afterglow wears off, which can be about 30 minutes at most.
What I mean is a low dose is like being starved and only smelling the food versus actually eating it. You don't really know how it tastes until you consume it, nor are you affected by it until then.
