I don't get how it goes over our heads, from the british humor someone was going on and on about awhile ago it seemed like just petty and pointless nationalism to me that was easy to grasp. It was all like "Lol, americans don't know how to use the letter U. They're all fat and lazy and stupid rednecks, lol blah blah generalizations look at us british folk, we may be stuck up but at least we know how to make tea proper oi oi oi lolols crumpetz!!"

I like some british humor (Monty Python ftw), but in general I'm pretty bigoted against the british. I think they can be the most pompous assh*les on earth.
American humor ftw (when its done right). |

To Crowquill-I was just taking the píss with my comment. A British past time!
To BooBoo-yes that is a bigoted statement, but at least you were honest. There is good humour on both sides of the Atlantic. American shows like Seinfeld, Frasier and Friends just leave me cold. My Name Is Earl rocks, probably because it seems to be more naturalistic and the humour not so forced. Most mainstream U.K sitcoms are absolutely awful these days. The last great one bing the gobsmacking LEAGUE OF GENTLEMAN.

My opinion of Americans has risen tenfold, except for any involved in theses awful programmes!

Frasier is the only one of those I really care for. Never understood the appeal of Seinfeld, I dunno how you can not know anyone who likes Seinfeld though.
