Alphabetizing a list of items on the computer
Does anyone know an easier way to do this than manually? I can't figure out how to on wordpad, notepad, or microsoft word.

Cmon guys you could be saving me alot of work >.<

excel -if it's not on your pc send me the list and i'll send it back

you can do it in word, i can't tell you what the exact process is because i use openoffice now, but in that you just highlight the text you want to sort and go tools>sort and then just hit alphanumeric or something. it should be pretty simple in word too.

lol, this is gonna sound REALLY stupid.....but if you go into LiveJournal and enter a bunch of things into the interests section(I think) then it alphabetizes. But it's got to be in the format "a, b, c, d" opposed to
"1. 2. 3." So you'd still have to separate and number things if you wanted an actual list. |
Catie already did it for me, if I need to again i'll use word. If worse comes to worse i'll make a livejournal.
