helping the pc illiterate.
I've got a pc in my house. got it free from a charity for swansea young single homeless, its an old pc, real old, no memory or speed t it at all, all you need to do is install arecent game and the thing would probably crash, what i want to do is update it from windows 2000 to me give it some extra memory and make it faster, i ave a small budget, i can shop on ebay, and i'd need to install it all myself, can somebody guide me through it?

I helped my dad built my first PC, but that was so long ago that I've forgotten how the whole business goes. What I do remember is that it wasn't as complicated as I thought and lots of fun.
