I got a 320gb sata external for $100. Its laptop size and cost me less to buy that and pull the drive than to buy a second drive for my laptop. Thats the cheapest I've seen that size. Check Pricewatch - Comparison Shopping. Find the lowest price on computer hardware, laptops, computer parts, electronics, jewelry and more for low price computer parts. I've dealt through them many times and never had a single problem.
I have an HP DV9720 17" laptop. I've upgraded the hard drives to dual 320GB and doubled the ram to 4GB. Seems to work pretty well for me.

Also my lappy has an i5-2410m 4Gb DDR3 640gb HDD and a GT540m not bad for 650 bucks. Battery life is surprisingly good too can get 3 or 4 hours on it doing usual stuff (watch movies). I can't play games though when im unplugged for some reason its just stutters like hell which isn't an issue though since I am usually sitting some where were I can use a mouse and have access to a plugin. |
