It's not like I kill them just to kill them.. If you hunt for not only the sport but to also gain food from it, it is smart. Yes, some people just hunt for trophies which is wrong to do, but a good bit of hunters are also doing it for food as well. It comes in handy when you're low on cash and can't afford to go spend as much on food as it costs now.

This, though.

I've never understood why people in developed countries need to kill defenseless animals when they could just grow a garden full of beautiful, cruelty-free vegetables.

You could be killing a father, a mother, or a child. Just because animals don't live in the human construct doesn't mean they don't have these things.

You do realize, that animals run their young off right? Once they are at a certain age, the parents ween them and then run them off to mate again. I'm sorry that I'm not a vegetarian? But I have no regrets. I hunt. I feed my family. That's all that really matters to me when we are low on money. What would you do during winter if you were low on money, and couldn't grow vegetables? Go out and buy expensive food that you don't have to money to be buying? There's nothing wrong with being a vegetarian, but do know that not everybody hunts to be killing things just go kill them. I live in an area that is pretty difficult to grow anything therefor if I tried that, we would be screwed.

Food chain exists for a reason. Those animals are below humans and always will be.

I wouldn't say it's amazing but it does taste good if the person cooking it does it right if not it can taste awful.

That's how all wild things are. If they aren't cooked right, it tastes gamey and it's gross..
