I don't think you know what the phrase 'circular argument' means do you? Repeating yourself, is not a circular argument. Since you don't seem to understand logical fallacy (you still cannot admit that your logic in our argument is wrong, even though I have spelled out why it is in the most basic of language, multiple times, hence the repeating), I will try to explain circular argument to you in one sentence. That way your attention span can handle the explanation. Circular reasoning is when a conclusion drawn through the argument rests on an assertion used to reach the orginal conclusion. There is no circular reasoning in any of my posts. Four "ROFL" smilies doesn't mean you have proven a point. In fact, like you have already done multiple times in this thread, you simply admit that you do not know what logic actually is. |

I don't even think Ronald Reagan would have praised Richard Nixon. Still, you don't say a single thing that backs up your assertion that Richard Nixon was self-less. You call himselfless, and when I defend my views that he was a crooked scumbag, you write them off because I am a 'staunch liberal'. Apparently I am ignorant and narrowminded enough to defend my view on Nixon, while you merely assert he was a great and self-less man. That is your opinion. What is it based on? My opinion is that he is a dirtbag. What is this based on? The fact that he committed campaign fraud, sabotage of the democratic party, breaking and entering, and illegal wiretapping of millions of American citizens. Then, he tried to hide it from the American people whom he took office to protect. None of that is spin or opinion. It is 100% documented fact that he did each of the things I listed. The opinion which is the conclusion that I have drawn from the facts, is that he is a dirtbag. You refuse to defend your opinion. |

I could go through each of those points, but I don't think I want to waste the time right now. This one is the worst, so I'll address it: "They talk about loving their country out of one side of their mouth and call the president a retard" They criticize the president because they love this country. Just because Bush is the president doesn't suddenly make him immune to criticism or infallible. In fact, his position is one of such importance that he should be more closely scrutinized. Everyone says that "you should respect him because he's the president lol." I would like to agree with them, but how can I respect someone who is supposed to uphold our democracy yet has absolutely no respect for the Constitution? I might get around to the other ones when I'm feeling more zealous.

And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that. |

What am I delusional about? I might go through each of those points tomorrow if I'm feeling up to it or if I'm bored enough.
I realize that it was an attempt to be humorous, but I didn't find it that funny. I don't like any of those Democrats you listed (I don't know much about Biden though). I like Kucinich, but for the most part I am not a fan of Democrats either. Yes, I'm liberal, but liberal=/= Democrat. Lots of times Democrats take a really bad approach to liberalism. I still find Republicans more annoying than Democrats by far, although most politicians on both sides make me ****ing irate.
