Yeah I'd have to agree and say I'm a sucker for accents. But only a select few. I love English and Irish accents (Irish accents... amazing), and New Zealand accents are cute and bring me back there. Not digging the American accent either.

I think i love accents so much because i NEVER hear them, except the occasional english.

Fair enough, but you must get all sorts of British accents around there. I've got a friend from Shropshire and another from London and their accents are indistinguishable!

I doubt that ... you just don't know what you're looking out for in their accents. Unless they both have received pronunciation, but unless they speak immaculate English they'll at least have dialectal colloquialisms that give it away. I'm from Bristol but don't have a strong accent, the biggest give away is when I say "where's that to" instead of "where is that". Your friends will do similar, you just mightn't know what it is that they're doing that separates them from each other.
