Default Un-F*CKING-Believable!

So tonight, I was heading out on my way to meet my bf, and I got rear-ended. The entire back end of my parent's SUV was crunched, and i might have gotten whiplash (going to the doctors tommorow). So i get home after dealing with the police and everything, and my mom offers to drive me to the theater to meet my bf. So I went to the movie, had fun, took my mind off the crash and everything. We get out of the movie and I see I have two voicemail messages. The first was from my brother telling me to call him when i wanted a ride home, then the second was from my mom. Turns out that not 6 hours after my accident, my mom got a call saying that my brother's car was TOTALED in a hit and run in the parking lot of the bar he was in at the time, thank god he wasnt in the car. So now one car is really badly damaged and cant be driven until it gets fixed, and the other is completely trashed, way beyond repair, (he's still talking to the police, waiting for him to get home) all in the space of 6 hours. only words that can describe this night are UN-F*CKING-BELIEVABLE.

Damn, that has to suck. At least no one was hurt, but it really hurts not having transportation.

ya, it does suck. my brother didn't believe it when he got the call, neither did my mom when they called about his car. They called my mom first, and she thought it was one of his friends prank calling or something. Then after the convinced her it was real she gave them my brothers cell number. So they called him and said "hi, this is constable ____ calling to report that your red integra has been involved in a hit and run, we're waiting outside with the car right now." so he thought is was a prank, cause everyone knows he drives a red integra, so he just says, oh it was, suuurree. so then after a while he figures he'll go outside and see whos pranking him, he looks around the corner and doesnt see the cop car, so he just went back into the bar. then about ten minutes later, phone rings again, the same number as before, so he picks up and says "oh, you again" so the cop asks him again to come outside and my brother goes "ya, i did, you're not out there. and i'm getting tired of you trying to prank me, how did you get my cell number anyway?" so the cop says, "your mom (says name) gave it to us) so then my brothers thinking, huh...i dont know anyone who knows my moms middle name...so then he said to the cop, "wow, this is actually sounding kind of real..." cop: "yes sir, it is, now will you please come outside" ya interesting night for our family.

heh it is. but as it turns out the acura (the one my brother was driving) isnt going to be a writeoff. All we had to go on was what the cops told us, and I guess it looked a lot worse than it actually is. As it turns out the one i was in is gonna be more expensive, about $7000. The guy at the auto-body shop couldnt believe i wasnt hurt at all.
