Formula 1
I was watching today, wow...that was quite a race. Big up to Hamilton, the first black dude to win a Formula 1 race in history I think. And he's only 22. He's been riding cart since he was six, while I was still playing with Barbie dolls...( whoda thunk I'd turn out queer...)
*has a feeling this will become the most popular thread in MB history*

I watched him in Formula 2 last year & he was spectacular in that.
It's no secret he was going to be good in F1 , but the way he's come into it is just awesome. Not even Michael Schumacher was this good in his first season. The scary thing is this was just his 6th race , I can't even begin to imagine how good he'll be once he has a few years experience under his belt.

Yeah, I can't believe anyone could drive so well without really knowing the track(s). Or maybe Formula 2 is ridden on the same courses? He mentioned this was his first time in Canada so...
He's quite unique, the commentators couldn't stop counting the records he was breaking. At 22, my God. Never thought I'd see the day a black man is on the top of the F1 podium, quite refreshing I must say. I hope he goes on to win the championship, I'm a little tired of always looking at the same faces (and nations) on the podiums. Also, what the hell is up with Alonso... I don't think he's too happy at the moment...

GP 2 is only run at the European F1 race meets so this would have been the first time he's ever raced in Canada.
Which makes it even more impressive.

F1 sucks and the race was in Canada, 2 reasons why I didn't see it.
I must admit though, I watched the Kubica crash on youtube. I'm going to watch some real racing this weekend, I am going to the Nascar race in Michigan. Nascar is far superior to F1 for these reasons: 1) You can bring your own beer 2) Hundreds of competitive passes every race 3) You can bring your own beer |
