Martin Brundle's contract expires at the end of the season, and he said on twitter he doesnt know who he'll be working for next year.

I imagine the whole BBC team's contracts will be up at the end of the season.

They were supposed to be showing F1 until the end of the 2013 season so they'd have surely signed them all to contracts to then, no? Jake Humphreys will still be on the beeb, he does their superbowl coverage (and I imagine some other crappy sports that BBC shows).

I've heard about some agreement that means the races have to be shown on free to air tv, and that both Martin Whitmarsh and Christian Horner are against a move to Sky. Couple all of this with the fact that Sky will have lower viewing figures, which means less exposure for sponsors and therefore less money for them. They'll pull out, and Bernie Ecclestone will lose more money than what Sky ar epaying which means long term moving to Sky is not a good deal really.

In short, I dont think this is over yet.

As long as Eddie Jordan's working for neither of them I'll be happy.

Any predictions for world champion this year? I have a strong feeling it's going to be Sebastian Vettel again by the looks of it.

Someone needs to make Eddie Irvine a pundit.

Gutted and angry that bbc will only be doing half the races next year.
I read somewhere that in 2009 they signed a 5 year deal! That was only 2 years ago!
I cant stand greedy liars, Sky, so I wont be subscribing to that lot!
I'll just watch a live stream on Myp2p like I do with the football.
Also, I agree with the post about Eddie Irvine being a pundit. He used to do a slot on the radio on Sunday evenings which was very good. Great knowledge, laid back with a good sense of humour.
I'd also stick my neck out and say Vettel will be champ again (unfortunately as I'd rather Lewis, Jensen, Mark or anyone really, wins it). I just cant take to Seb. I think it's the finger thing! Looks a bit arrogant.

There's 20 races next season and BBC is showing 10 so it's an even split. I'll probably figure out a way to stream the other 10 in the meantime. Where there's money involved there's always going to be greedy liars but sure what can you do?

Button was impressive enough today and might be in with a good shot, but I can see Vettel winning in Spa. I think the faster circuits like Spa and Monza will suit Red Bull a bit more.
