help me with this, will you?
For speech class, I have to do this "personal philosophy speech". I plan on talking about how happiness doesn't exist. I need quotes and stories and stuff for this speech. Anyone care to discuss?

Well, you could also discuss the topic, even if you don't agree with it. Say why you don't agree with it and stuff. This thread isn't just meant to help me with my assignment, but also to spark discussion.

I think that because whenever someone's happy, it's usually countered by being unhappy. Even if the unhappiness doesn't last nearly as long as the happiness, it remains true that nobody can ever be eternally happy. That's why I'm saying that true happiness doesn't exist. I define true happiness as eternal happiness. I can agree that happiness exists, but it's never true happiness, by my definition anyway.
