Before I decided to join Music Banter I read quite a lot of the material posted in here, and tried to get a feel for the veterans/mods and the general atmosphere of your forum. I couldn't agree more, it takes very little effort to compose coherent sentences that reflect some intelligent/humorous thought, I find that I gloss over the text shorthand but pay attention to the posts that people took some pride in writing. As for abbreviations,,,LOL,,,I'm still new at all this stuff, so I go to wikipedia or ask one of my friends when I come across one that I've never seen before. Sometimes the context is enough for me to figure it out and it's been fun to learn this new language.
