Something I've found is telling a girl who may be interested in you too soon that you like her back is almost always a death-wish on your relationship (at least for some girls). If you haven't had prom yet, wait to see how that goes before you make any decisions. Better to play it naturally then get all tensed up about whether you should tell her something she probably notices (at least a little bit).

Just go about things in a normal manner, but do little things that let her know you might like her (stop by her locker, call her on the phone, ask her to a movie/dinner/coffee), nothing too major.
