Ok, so how does one transfer files to an ipod?:confuzzled: This shit is supposed to be user friendly and I can't figure it out for the life of me. Drag and drop what? I click on the library button in itunes, choose, say, an album and try to drop it in the device, but it can't...

Help!

first, set it to manuel, on your itunes click on your ipod to do so.

next, click the first song in your library, then hold shift, and click on the last one. You have now highlighted every song in there, then just drag it all into your ipod.

Worked like a charm...their instructions were absolute shyte...thank you very much, there is no way in hell I woulda figured it out by myself (Shift?wtf?).

Ok, so one more question, does anyone know if you can manage the sound quality on an ipod nano? Bass and shit..?

If you click on 'FILE' the drop down box will give you the option of transfering a single file or a whole folder into it.

Thats how I do it anyway

o and one more thing, if you want to be able to get music off other people's computer leave it on manuel, or it will delete your library and replace it with his.

Seems to me like not putting it on manual causes a shitload of hassle...what exactly are the advantages of that particular transfer mode? How does it work?

automatic, means every time you plug in the ipod it will automatically sync all new songs, pics, etc on there.

Since you have a "nano"(lulz, i gots teh video) i reccomend not automatically syncing photos(just uncheck the box) since it will take a lot of room.

Also, i reccomend deleting album artwork, allowing you to squeeze some extra songs on there.

Also, for if you do jack some songs from a mate. Download idump, apple is too *** to give you the option to put songs from your ipod to your comp.

Yes but, since I have some 30 gigs of music in my library and 4g gigs of space on the nano....things don't look good for the nano...
