It doesn't touch on the invention, but it does say that the POWs in Alabama were introduced to Peanut Butter while being used for farm labor.

"Sez here "Butter with peanuts in it" Well, that's just not natural! Sorry, m'am, but there's no way I'm having that in my kitchen!"

Crunchy. Life's too short for smooth peanut butter.

A few years ago there was a news item about fly-in-fly-out workers on a mining site threatening industrial action over the fact that the only peanut butter available in the firm's canteen was of the smooth variety.

I was shocked. What is the world coming to? People are so unreasonable. I can't believe they expected their employees to put up with smooth.

For the oil separation, I just jam a knife down in their and stir. It's the same with sour cream. Blending is key. It's all about the blend. Do you even blend bro?

I bet that came as quite a surprise to them!

I have to say that all this talk of burps and oil doesn't sound very enticing.

Smooth for me please.

And for the record, I stir peanut butter with the butter knife I spread it with (but stir sour cream with the spoon I use to plop it with lol).
