Who is your favourite character from Friends?

For me, it's definitely Chandler, hands down.

I don't think I can choose. I've gotten obsessed with every character one time or another.
I think my favourites would be a tie between Monica in her extreme neuroticism and Chandler self-destructing awkwardness, third is Phoebe and then comes Ross.

Still it's depending on the season. Ross has his moments (specially when he was playing his "music" and the recurring "WE WERE ON A BREAK!!"), so does Pheebs and her smelly cat.

So I don't think I can vote on this one :/

I like Monica because she's hot. I couldn't care less about the other ones. And don't play the Rachael card.. She reminds me of feces for some weird reason, so I could never get into her.

Never really watched the show in any dedicated fashion. Just caught episodes here and there for a few years, but I think all three of the guys are douchebags, with chandler being the least douchey of the bunch, but still with plenty of douche. I mean.. there's a lot of clean vag on that show. But yea... Monica is/was fun to watch.

Friends has been super-popular in Mexico, and with good reason imo: it has lots of laughs, plus characters and situations we can relate to.

Not so sure about Freebase's reaction to Rachel, but I agree with him about Monica. I like the way she's young, attractive, full of energy, but at the same time has all these completely unfashionable neurosis driving her to do nerdy things. It's like she's constantly at war with herself.

Phoebe was my least favourite character of all; I felt like her wackiness was very contrived and didn't ring true. Also, she was tied up in all the dullest storylines; the search for her mum and the final appearance of her true father. Actually, now I come to think of it, he is my least favourite character of all.

As for the guys, I think Joey was often given the funniest lines and the job of providing comic relief when the romantic stuff was in danger of becoming cringe worthy. So, yeah, he'd be my favourite.

Yeah I love Monica as well, in fact probably every character except for Phoebe for some reason. She just plainly pisses me off. If I had to subject myself to an order, this would be it:

Chandler > Joey > Monica > Ross > Rachel > Phoebe
