Really nerdy topic
I was wondering if anyone else bowls?
I have a Hyde and a Scout Reactive although occasionally I use my mom's Shadow and Yellow dot but she has a larger span than me so I can throw them and they react good but I would never use that in a tournament. Right now my Scout's getting plugged and drilled because my thumb has grown since mid-high school when I got my Hyde and that's all I've been using. Anyone else have bowling stories, been in tournaments, etc... btw, I'm trying to enter a semi-pro title the end of this year and my average is 182, pretty damn good for a chick. Highest game has been 254. I dunno....I'm just bored.

I don't like bowl properly, but I enjoy bowling with mates.
Does that count? I usually use the 14 or 12 pound balls. Other than that it's pretty much over my head.

Two years ago I found out that I'd become insanely good at skittles. Played three times over two weeks and got a strike for every single bowl, which is the standard 10 bowls plus up to 5 extra gos if you keep getting strikes. I was playing against a bunch of French and Italian people... so I told them that that kind of score was normal when the English play.

it's not that nerdy, a good number of my friends have bowling fetishes, and go to midnight bowling every week. My bf hates bowling though and ends up giving up half-way though and smoking in the corner, so I don't usually go with them. But it's better than people give it credit for.
