Sanitization is an americanism. Like so many words that end in sation or such. They use z, we use s. although now that I look at it I'm wondering if someone just made it up...

The Americans made it up because they can't spell.

Sorry, I sometimes forget that you Europeans have no set spelling rules and can change z's to s's and are allowed to put a u in a word wherever you please.

And no, I'm not an American. I'm a permanent resident of America, but according to my passport I'm a Belgian citizen and that's where both of my parents are from.

I don't really feel any sort of alliance to any country though, if a World War broke out I'd probably just enlist with the PLA (China's army) because they have about as many soldiers as most nations have citizens.

Change that to the Americans Can't remember the original Spellings and so they take out a u in words or change s's to z's because they can't handle it.

Foreign languages are banned on the forums...

Apologies, Languages other than English are Banned on the forums, otherwise I would be sorely tempted to write in Irish from time to time just to confuse everyone

When I was on holiday in Acapulco...many years ago. An American girl asked me what the Queens English was.
So I told her that the Queen used to make up a new word every month and announce it to the nation live on T.V. and that's how the Queens English got it's name.
