record to mp3/wma???
hey guys
i have a slight problem. i have a nine inch nails record (dead souls) that i accidentally bought thionking it was a cd... (ebay) and now am trying to put on the computer as i cannot seem to find anywheere to download it... with that being alot easier way of doing it... so basically, has anyone else come across this problem...if so...how did you encode it to digital>? |

when i transfer my vinyl to mp3 i just play it on my record player, connect the record player to my PC, record each side into cakewalk, then i use cakewalk to cut each size into tracks and save it as Mp3....I'm sure there must be other programs that do it as well...i just happen to have that one.

Music Match and Creative will record tracks to MP3s. I have my turn table hooked to my computer's line in port. But I have hundreds of vinyls and just like listening to them in their original form. ACDC, Pink FLoyd and Alice Cooper sound best this way!
