Mods: Move them all here. I can point out the users who do it too, so you can keep on the lookout.

jibber 03-16-2007 12:04 AM

do we really need an entire thread filled with oojay and theusedtoolguy's posts?

A_Perfect_Sonnet 03-16-2007 12:05 AM

You read my mind.

jibber 03-16-2007 12:06 AM

great minds DO think alike...

A_Perfect_Sonnet 03-16-2007 12:13 AM

...alike a FOX!

Haha.

TheUsedToolguy 03-16-2007 12:13 AM

Yeah, I won't be here much longer for you guys to kick around. The job I'm about to take will require me to devote most of my time to it. So, I hope you find some more guys like me, that you can patronize, and bully, and belittle, to help you feel good about yourselves. Seriously, I wish you all the best of luck. I didn't come here to make a name for myself. I just picked a random music forum, because I like music, and then I was just basically myself, honest as always, and see how people react to it. Basically, it's the same response I get from most people, but that's fine. I won't change who I am. I wasn't trying to spew a bunch of propaganda on here. I just like speaking my mind. That's fine. It's how I treat myself that matters, not how others treat me.

Oh darn....

TheUsedToolguy 03-16-2007 12:20 AM

yeah, I know you'll miss me

jibber 03-16-2007 12:21 AM

^^^ funny that....I've hardly seen any of your posts in the actual music forums....aside from the songwriting one...So why exactly DID you come here if not to talk about music?

TheUsedToolguy 03-16-2007 12:25 AM

I had a lot of posts in the music, and I came here to talk about mostly music, and obviously other stuff. It wouldn't be as cool if all we ever talked about was music, so that's why I came here, because I enjoy it. I enjoy making posts and being controversial at times, and mostly being honest. That's cool about the internet, you can be completely honest, and people have to hear you out. I'm honest in society too, but I have a hard time communicating with people who consume liters of caffeine in a day, myself being, I believe, a very calm person, who never consumes caffeine. So, I came on here, and made posts where people can't interrupt me, and had to pay attention.

Get a grip!

You are aware that, apart from me and NaNaNer, pretty much everybody you've been conversing with recently is considerably younger than you, right? Even if they are having a go at you, you're in your mid 20's, learn to friggin' deal with it and stop whining. That quote may have only been one sentence plucked from a post, but its enough to constitute whingeing.

Barnard17 03-16-2007 05:09 AM

Actually, as you're mentioning age, Oojay and Right Track DO have OAP bus passes ... ;)

DontRunMeOver 03-16-2007 05:24 AM

Oojay's still a good few years younger and I haven't noticed Right-Track and TheUsedToolGuy chatting to each other much. Point is, complaining about being bullied online by teenagers when you're in your 20's is akin to a guy complaining about being beaten up by a girl, in that you shouldn't be letting it happen anyway and if it does you sure as hell shouldn't remind people that it's happening. That ****'s just embarrasing.

Rofl, he's been tossed around by Ben, Ethan, myself and a score of other people that aren't even 20 and won't be for at least a couple more years. When I saw his age in his profile I had a rather lengthy chuckle.

TheBig3 03-16-2007 08:23 AM

Attention New Posters: Ignore APS, he's our weeding system. If you leave because of him, it just means you weren't able to stomach MusicBanter...

That being said, and given the nature of the thread, I'd like to take this time to mention that I'm the greatest musical critic thats ever lived and in fact only stick around MusicBanter to improve everyones miserable lives and ****ty taste in music.

There, ya didn't even have to move this post. enjoy!

HAHA, yeah, it's important to point out that people's behavior is wrong, regardless of whether I can take it or not. If I was sitting here crying @ my computer, or just casually observing other people's comments, I would still feel obliged to point out their sadistic ways to others. Especially, in a society where dissent of any kind, political, religious, musical, makes you a target for belittling. My statement was more of a warning to others that, you can be yourself, and honestly express yourself on here, but at the expense of having every comment scrutinized and placed under a microscope by certain members.

If you come on a board and post you comments, opinions, life issues..or anything like the sort...you have opened those things..and yourself to be judged..and commented on...

I would be tempted to tell you to go f*ck yourself, but that wouldn't be very nice. How's that for self-righteous?

I'm glad I was able to come on here, and share my honest thoughts and opinions, and while I wish people would react differently, for their own sake, and then my sake in return (it would be better for me, if society weren't so judgmental, and could be more accepting of people who are open and honest about their problems and ideas). It was a classic showcase for the way people are treated for simply giving their honest uncensored opinion, and can really be studied by the younger crowd. Well, I can give my opinion, and come under a lot of pressure in scrutiny, and maybe that's the way I want to live my life. After all it takes a stronger person to be able to put up with all the grief, + you get the reward of being honest.:thumb:

[MERIT] 03-16-2007 10:45 AM

Why is this thread still open anyway? It's admittely just a hate thread for me and TUTG. People are just getting pathetic now.

A_Perfect_Sonnet 03-16-2007 10:49 AM

Well it's serving it's purpose pretty well, at least 50%.

To Big3: You can move your post to the Dillusional Posts thread, lawl!

I didn't actually have to call it this, I could have called it "The Fluffy Bunny Rabbit Appreciation Thread" and you'd probably still go off on rants.

/observation.

I think the the immense diversity on a forum of this size could give us a good guaging of today's society.

You really don't know that, and one of the reasons people trash you so much. You assmue things without any factual backing and make assumptions about people.
