^What, anally?

TheUsedToolguy 03-15-2007 11:47 AM

HaHa, good sense of humore DRMO. No, I never did that. I probably thought about it, but never actually it.
I meant that I would want someone to love me, in all my naivety, rather than be totally ostracized.

This is an extremely idiotic statement. I absolutely cannot stand phony people. So you believe that everyone putting on a faccade gives our society hope?

We've got way too many people in society who are FAKE. This world desperatly needs true people.

What defines a "true" person?

TheUsedToolguy 03-15-2007 01:17 PM

I believe a true person is someone who is honest, and is themselves. I.E. they don't have to put on a facade to get people to like them, because they don't care if people like them or not. People who desperately want the approval of others are people who don't like themselves. Otherwise, why would they need other's approval so much? So, a true person, is someone who is honest with others, and most importantly honest with themselves. To get back to the point of this thread, it doesn't matter if you are true or not. I would hope everyone would be, but you have plenty of time.

This is the best post that I have read in quite some time my friend:clap:

Really? What the hell did it mean then?

I've never seen the word 'fake' justified as a way to describe anybody. In my opinion, the only way somebody could say with confidence that there are fake people in the world would be if that person themselves fitted their own definition of fake.

In my opinion, anybody who calls other people 'fake' regularly should be punched in the face, firmly but fairly, each time they do so. It would be an educational measure.

Someone who is true to themselves at the expensive of image.
At least that's my take on it.
