A shaman is someone who goes out to the middle of nowhere, basically, to live by himself to find spiritual enlightenment. That was the word that I used, now why don't you geniuses tell me what a hermit is. Beeteedub, if it's different then I didn't mean hermit, I meant shaman.

You described a hermit, give or take the spiritual enlightenment. A shaman is someone that practices a particular type of magic. It can refer to those involved in voodoo hoodoo although more traditionally it's connected with tribes-peoples, be it those in Africa; Asia or ancient Europe. Shamans took on the "witch doctor" role as the medicine man (or woman) of the tribe. Well respected. Shamans are, for the most part, pretty sociable beasts.

I've no complaint toward a thatched woman on occasion, but permanently? Even if you don't dig up the weeds people can at least give the lawn a mow, and if you dislike the fully shaven look people can still plug for a properly maintained landing strip or something similar. I mean srrsly, if she wants you to go down you can't be flossing at the same time. Even if she's not back-to-the-skin, she can at least prune the rose bushes.
