Dark tower 2 (covers, quote)

I was wondering if anybody has read Stephen King's Novel The Dark Tower: Drawing of the Three, and if anybody can tell me how it went?

I read it once but now that i already did my report ill be good and just re read it, and your right it is a great series i love it; the detail and imagination he has wow.

Wait till you hit books five, six and seven. It starts getting very ........ interesting. If you haven't gotten there yet, the very end should blow your mind.

Cool im one four right now, and roland is telling his story about true love susan, is there a connection between Susannah(the black girl in a wheel chair) and susan(rolands first girlfriend)?

I'm about a quarter of the way through book 2 right now....a long journey ahead for me....i think i may actually listen to some on audiobook at work ...this sounds stupid, but I'm a huge King fan...and i always planned on saving the series for retirement...now I'm afraid i'll either never retire or die first..so I'm getting in to it.

There is no real connection other than the close names. I read book four right when I got out of basic training. I got through the whole thing in about 26 total hours. When I got books 5, 6 and 7, I started on 5, took a while to read it, then moved on to 6, and ended up calling in sick to work on a Friday and had finished the series by Monday morning. I have been obsessed with these books since I was about 12. When I started coming up on the end of book 7, I almost had to fight myself to keep reading. I had had my own vision of how it would end and didn't want Stephen King to **** it up. I ended up getting through it and I guess it ended almost the only way it could.

Book 2 was the first one I started on, but it didn't make any sense so I put it down. I ended up finding book one a few days later (my mom had boxes full of King books, some first prints and some signed). I read that one, then moved on to 2 and started having to wait for the next book. I almost couldn't believe how fast he put out the last 3 with how long it took for the first 4. There are very few King books I havn't read. When you look at the book list inside the covers of the last 3 DT books, you will see how many of them tie into the DT series. It is almost as though all he could think about was this series.
I'll tell you this much; the series is very long, but I don't regret one minute I spent reading it. It will grab you and pull you in. Sometimes it might even make you question reality.
