I saw this last night with my friend.... it made me want to throw spears at people as I was driving home.

But seriously, it's really good.

it was a pretty good movie, the main thing I liked about it was the cinemetography. no matter what critisisms you have about it, you have to admit, the filming was SPECTACULAR.
but, historically accurate? not even a LITTLE bit. The vast majority of the persian army was black, persians arent, and were never, black. where the f*ck did they get a rinocerous? the random guy with blade arms....i get that they can have some artistic liscence, but COME ON. it would have been just as powerful if they'd done some research and TRIED to make it look authentic instead of having a persian army that's some wierd hybrid of indian, african, and pretty much every OTHER culture aside from persian.

the fight scenes were awesome but seriously, way too much plot and character development. i didn't go watch that movie to watch people talk... i went to it to see spartans ****ing up persians. i don't care about the historical stuff, they have the basics down, but seriously there was only like half an hour of awesome fighting in a two hour plus movie they should've put in more fighting

Easily the best movie I've seen this year. Cinematography blew my mind! I thought the script was a bit lame at times but a few of the lines were funny or actually pretty good. I personally liked the character development. So many feelings about this movie. The fight scenes were pretty cool, however it started to become redundant after the magicians. And the movie was more historically accurate than I thought, but it was still a stretch. And of course its Hollywood so they made exceptions. I ignored that because I was busy looking at 300 bare-chested ripped men, with Gerard Butler as their fearless leader.

^The oracle had funny looking nipples. They stuck out too far or something. Other than that, they didnt excellent casting for the chicks. the Oracle was VERY hot other than the nipple problem.
