Besides the title and heading, the article says nothing about a planned attack for tomorrow. It is based off the opinion of a single journalist and it came from CNN. I'll believe it when I see it.

they've been speculating about this for weeks now, and I would honestly be surprised if the US didn't bomb iran at some point. Bush has made numerous speeches that not only sound scarily similar to his speeches made about the situation in iraq right before they invaded, but contain quite a few not-so-thinly veiled threats about making a forceful response if iran refuses to comply with the us's ultimatums. I don't think they'll actually invade iran (logistically it would be impossible, plus there would never be support for it), but bombing the country, yeah, that would not surprise me at all.

We will obviously come to blows with Iran sooner or later, but as for it being tomorrow morning, nah.

well, nobody wants it, but they are providing weapons to the insurgents in Iraq. The friend of my enemy is also my enemy.

Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.

so what exactly will bombing the country accomplish? What could POSSIBLY be resolved by starting yet another conflict in that area of the world? US bombs Iran, then what? There's already a cival war in iraq, mounting violence in afghanistan from returning taliban, what could POSSIBLY be solved by bombing iran? It astounds me that people could actually agree with that kind of policy.

True, but I was speaking for a secular government who has no religious affiliation.

I never said that I agree with it, did I? Nope, didn't think so. I would like to avoid war as much as the next person, but when Iran perpetuates the already ongoing war with the insurgency in Iraq by supplying them with weapons to kill US troops then they become a part of the problem. I mean we could try nicely asking them to stop, but I'm pretty sure that wouldn't do much good.
