Actually, my teacher has a list of 8 historic truths:

1) The British and the French always hate each other
2) Everyone never always agrees
3) Men with guns can overthrow the govt.
4) Katie Little is in it for the tax money
5) Caroline Fish is in it for the violence
6) Ladies love Alex Moss
7) Girls with lipgloss are dangerous.
8) People are always dazzled by shiny objects

That's where I got the idea, plus I was too stoned during V for Vendetta to really remember it.

I was being dead serious. My teacher actually does teach us those historical truths. I'm not terribly ignorant, but a decent percent of my school is (bubble like environment).

It just seems wasteful to buy guns and not use them. That was more just me gaging how much you value usefulness.
