I personally think that either

the law should permit abortion

OR

give boys compulsory vasectomies at the age of 10, only to be reversed when they are married or whatever the law-makers deem to be the morally correct for them to start being able to reproduce. All boys. All of them, because they all have the potential to get a woman pregnant in the future when she doesn't want to be.

Its only sensible that the onus and hassle should be placed on the males here, because (typically) a woman's body won't become pregnant until a man enters it, so an unwanted pregnancy IS more the fault of the man than of the woman.

Oh, and maybe we could execute married men who get women other than their wives pregnant. That would make sense.
