Music Websites?
So folks whats up. As part of a research and development study I am doing... I thought maybe the brilliant minds of musicbanter could help me out here... the question is...
What do you like about social and music websites, the list would include sites such as www.last.fm www.facebook.com www.myspace.com www.myspace.com/music www.garageband.com www.purevolume.com www.itunes.com etc, etc... (if you have any others you like please list more so I can check em out.) Why do you like these sites? What would you like to see in a new site if one were made? What is WRONG with these sites? Any opinions would be great, it's kind of a education project I'm doing - and you're the smartest people I know :P |

Its like free advertising to morons. The problem I find is that usually most people on those sites don't really stop to talk. I find interaction with people to be more interesting than a bunch of people going "HERE CHECK OUT MY BAND!!1111111lolz"

What's good: some of them www.smnnews.com/board especially introduces me to tons of great tunage.
what's bad: basically what Unfan said.

The only good music sites that aren't forums are lastfm and rate your music because it has good information for checking release dates, bios, record labels, things of the such. and they have good recomendations.
