Default How Illegal is this?

My mate brought his laptop down my flat and somehow i have an internet conection :S i think i might be sealig it, what are my chances? how bad would it be if i got caught? is i a glitch or am i staling someone elses? is it that bad? who reckons i keep doing it?

nahh, that called wireless internet, and you seem to have a hot spot in your house, its that simple, just like some of the coffe shops have wi-fi and hotspots, my friend has on at her house, and there one somewhere over on my couch by the wall

my friend bought a macbook and thought he was the worlds biggest genuis until his neighbor found out, and then just password-protected it.

thats probobly what will happen, but my dad just bough a super-nice receriver thing, so he picks up wifi from the coffe shop a couple blocks away.

I don't know what your laws in your area are but I use other peoples WiFi all the time.

its the people who your nicking the connection off who are to blame, if its such a crime they should be more stringent with their internet protection.
