Hey Raine make sure to stop working the streets for a while.

Hey bitch did I tell you you could speak. Get back to slurping my man nectar off my pork sword.

Thoughts.

Ive always heard that it was most likely a member of the royal family.

NaNaNer 12-13-2006 03:31 PM

How many have been found?

right-track 12-13-2006 03:33 PM

5.

Ipswich Rugby Union are going to struggle this season...they're running short of hookers.

NaNaNer 12-13-2006 03:34 PM

5?? Damn...I thought they were only connecting two of them?

right-track 12-13-2006 03:38 PM

http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/...243940,00.html

3 confirmed and 2 found in similar circumstances.

[MERIT] 12-13-2006 03:41 PM

So which one of you brits here did it? My money's on Urban:laughing::shycouch:

right-track 12-13-2006 03:41 PM

After THAT Xmas song, mine's on DRMO.

NaNaNer 12-13-2006 03:43 PM

I dont live anywhere near that side of the pond.

DontRunMeOver 12-13-2006 03:43 PM

They were all in and around Ipswich, so it seems pretty logical to connect them because its not a huge place (didn't know it had a red-light district and it must be running pretty low now...)

Having said that, Ipswich is just down the motorway from East London, so in theory the guy could be from London and could have killed plenty of prostitutes there already and not have been noticed because it would be much harder to trace in London.

Nice smokescreen. ^

True. The Yorkshire Ripper did a bit of commuting back in the 70/80's.

Shhhhhh.... its all a marketing ploy for my christmas song. Its a performance piece called the 12 whores of christmas. I hit the last one over the head with a partridge.

right-track 12-13-2006 03:52 PM

He'll have to go some to beat Shipmans record.

He killed over 300 people, didn't he? Apparently nobody noticed until a doctor at a surgery across the road from his contacted the police and said he'd been 'killing' his patients (or rather, she was worried that he was a really crap doctor I think). 300 patients in 25 years or so? That's over 10 a year! About 1 per month? How did he have the time to treat anybody with all that killing? And if he went on holiday, did he come back and think 'oh dear, I've missed my quota for this month, better kill 2 next time'... or did he kill people on holiday too?

Oooh, that's an interesting though. Did Shipman kill anybody when he was on holiday? Or on his birthday? Or on christmas!???? Aaaaaargh!!!!!

How far are you from Hyde, Right-Track? (that's where he was, right?)

right-track 12-13-2006 03:59 PM

250 confirmed and a possible suspected 400.

I live 3 miles from Shipmans surgery and used to work with a bloke who's mother was a victim.
In fact I walked past the surgery for 8 years, on my way to work.

Hyde is the same town that the Moors Murderers come from too!

Mr Sensitive 12-13-2006 03:59 PM

This thread is a scream.

Is there a town called Jekyll where nice people live then?

Do they put this on official statistics:

Major causes of death in the Hyde area -

Heart Disease
Traffic accident
Cancer
Harold Shipman

?

How many people died in the Falklands? Does that compare?

EDIT: 258 British killed, pretty good guess!

right-track 12-13-2006 04:05 PM

The next town west is Denton, then Gorton, where I live...were all nice there. :)

littleknowitall 12-14-2006 04:01 PM

What i'm wondering is would it have still made the news if they weren't hookers?

DontRunMeOver 12-14-2006 04:38 PM

If there 5 people who seemed to have been killed in similar, unusual circumstances such that the police suspected a serial killer, then yes.

The time when the "would if had made the news if they weren't such and such" is most obvious not in 'the new ripper's case, but when somebody who went to Oxbridge, or Harrow/Eton, or Law School/Med School, or worked in journalism, is a murderer or is murdered. Then it makes the news for ages.

right-track 12-14-2006 04:44 PM

Moley, you should read The Bonfire Of The Vanities by Tom Wolfe.

DRMO...your post would make good lyric material...

DontRunMeOver 12-14-2006 04:47 PM

Hmmm, I agree.

Did you see about that Oxford student who murdered a girl who's dad was a teacher at Harrow.

It got so much publicity. And they always referred to her as "the daughter of a master at Harrow school" like anybody gave a ****. I was a bit disappointed that the Daily Star (or even better, the Sport) didn't get hold of it and run a headline like.

POSH BIRD DIES!

KILLED BY BOARDING SCHOOL WEIRDO!

THIS IS WHAT TOO MUCH BUGGERY IN THE LOCKER ROOM AT A YOUNG AGE LEADS TO!

right-track 12-14-2006 04:56 PM

Manchester Evening News:

Posh Bitch In Mercy slaying.

Bloody student suspected.

Inside on pages 2,3,4 & 5. The seedy underworld of the over privileged.

It saves me explaining...it's late.
The book gets a bit heavy going, but well worth the read.
Great social statement.

littleknowitall 12-14-2006 05:27 PM
