I dont know to be honest but even then its not television nor sitcom. No sitcom I've known has followed that formula. Whose Line is obviously not sitcom either, but im noting the fact that it was a joke :P

Id love to know but it does look like there actually wasnt anything at all like Curb Your Enthusiasm which is immensely impressive.

That is all.
I prefer Michael to David, Jim to Tim and Dwight to Gareth. But I actually really like both shows.. Ricky Gervais executive produces for both and has a hand in writing, so I don't think their needs to be competition between the two shows.

They are two very different people. David sees himself as this hillarious, artistic, genius and is more arrogant and seems to be nice to people only for the sake of the cameras.

Michael is more geniune and really wants to be friends with everybody because he never had alot of friends growing up.

Both hillarious, but different kind of people entirely.

Yeah i know, but for what the Office is supposed to be Brent's character is absolutely perfect. Micheal is too nice, i dont actually find him that funny.

I noticed that depending on which series people have seen first, Original or American Workplace, they tend to like that one more. I think it's just because both shows do a great job of getting you invested in the characters.

Peep Show - watch it.

No one masters the art of self-deprecating humour like england. The US is just canned laughter and wooping.

wierd, not the version that aired on tv. and yes, i can recite the whole opening rap word for word, and i expect so can everyone else from my generation who grew up with that show.

I find both of them (american and british comedy) to have their good shows and bad shows. All the ones already mentioned, scrubs, curb your enthusiasm, arrested development etc. are the ones I think are the best of american comedy.

My favorite british show hasn't been mentioned as far as i saw, has no one else watched pheonix nights or is it just generally considered as absolute trash? Dont care either way, i find it hilarious

oh, and whoever mentioned aussie shows to be bad, you should see canadian tv. neighbours and home and away are oscar worthy compared to laguna beach.
