My mum asks random questions to everybody all of the time, so its hard to remember what questions she would ask. My mum certainly wouldn't ask people about their sexual habits or their general motives for dating somebody and probably the first time you meet somebody's parents they'll be so busy sizing you up that they won't actually be paying so much attention to the questions they're asking you or the answers you are giving.

If your boyfriend's mum seems to be trying to intimidate you, I'd think it might just be that she's so focused on sizing you up that she forgets to watch her own behaviour. Best thing to do, if you want to make a good impression, is just to be relaxed and friendly and interested in what his mum has to say.

I know this from experience! My first girlfriend freaked out when she met my parents, came across as weird and then continued to act weirdly toward them, which didn't endear her. If you act like a weirdo they won't like you.

My current girlfriend was just calm and polite when she met my parents and has been like that ever since. They absolutely love her. She talks to them, they talk to her, she smiles a lot. Its a winning formula

So be calm and polite, not weird and aggressive, this will also make it easier for your boyfriend to side with you if there's an argument and even if his mum were to resist at first she'll have no choice but to come around to you.
