no, it's not true, well i sincerely doubt it. what happened was, the guy who directed it found this website advertising a hostel where you could pay to go and shoot people. the site claimed that the people being shot were doing it completely of their own will. Now, he wondered at first weather it was real or not, and then though, well, the point isn't if its real or not, the point is that someone made a website about it. and that's where the movie comes from.

I just saw Hostel.
I like it, it was ok. Without the naked chicks it would have sucked, but.
I could see how that could have been based on a true story. None of it is far fetched. And I sure that they wouldnt lie and say "based on a true story" when it really wasnt.

They probably just streched the truth

I have a question.
Did the avatar maximum size change?
Because PTS avatar looks way bigger than 80x80 and if he only changed his because he is a mod, then that is unfair

no, the limits are pretty clear: 80 by 80 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller) whether it be a gif, jpeg or bmp.
