And the number five doesn't amount to half the number of times I've been in love. Although it is close to a quarter

I'd tend to think that unless you've* felt a certain way about somebody, such that you decided you actually hadn't ever really been in love before, then you probably haven't really ever been properly in love.

love has degrees and comes in too many forms.
And I've only said the L word to 2 people that were significant others.
All the rest are/were more or less people to sleep with. That just ahpened to want some emotional attachment.
