I'll admit yes they do have the choice in the begining, and that's their responsibility. But when they start to get addicted it is a disease they can't control. That's my stand anyway.
And Mikey argues that they can quit if they want to. Well only if they know they're addicted in the first place. Denial is part of the disease.

we were out in the smoking area at college t'other day with a couple of joints, the bloody cleaner comes up to us & says "can i smell green? i wont say a word, just gimme a drag of it there? i swear i can smell it..."
so he gives us a sniff, then goes "awh it must be someone else" & wonders off smelling everyone else's fags.
