I once stayed at this hostle that was huge. more of a hotel than a hostle but it was classed as a hostle because it was so sh*tty. There were no real hostle things there at all and when you try and talk to people they get all angry and sh*t and start yelling........Nice experience that was...

or you could take a year or two off while finishing your degree. a friend of mine has this saying and i love it, "finishing university in 4 years is like leaving a party at 9pm"

yeah, although if I can get an Irish scholarship (I go to school through Irish) I can get a grant which lasts for as long as I'm in college, which is kinda handy...

true, but then you could always work while in school, and save all that since you'll be living on the grant you get, then use the money to go away or just do it when you graduate, haha

yeah, my plan was to travel for 4 months in between 1st and second year, that 4 months turned into 7, and second year kind of didnt happen, haha. plans are overrated. oh and another awesomness so i'm not totally hijacking the topic of this thread, Fidel's cafe on cuba street in wellington, coolest place ever
