Default Mancunian-to-be

So, in april I'll probably be going to Manchester with a friend of mine. What places do we HAVE to visit? (We're only going for a week, and we have to WORK too... so we have little time...)

Well, on your way back you might have to visit quarantine for a while.

Its a shame you didn't ask about Liverpool, I sent a message to LukeM about it and he practically wrote me a guide book!

You should visit Manchester Tom.
There's a particularly good intensive care unit at Salford Hope.
I could organise a visit for you.

Isn't that name something of a contradiction?

Alo...I only found out today that Manchester is twinned with Amsterdam.

Whereabouts are you staying?
In Manchester itself, or in the Greater Manchester area?

Outside somewhere, I don't know the name of the village/city though. ^^'
But it's really close to manchester, at least, that's what she said...

And what do you mean with the fact that it's twinned with Amsterdam?

Twinned means just that. Two cities that share cultural similarities.
Cultural exchanges etc. It's in a list on the link above.

I tried to find some gig dates in Manchester, for the month of April, but they only go up to March at the moment.
I'll update you nearer the time.
This is an exciting city in many ways, especially for music.

I'll make a list of places to visit later.

Cool, thanks! We're probably going to rfrecords, and to the manchester college. (As we're both considering to go there after 'high school').

I know which cultural similarities I'm thinking of.
