i'm not actually that much into sport anyway, t's just i'm a scarlet fan by birth and although Llanelli may have a fantastic rugby team they have no football team to support so naturally i'm more of a rugby fan....plus i kinda think american football is a little ****e and the whole 'soccer' thing tends to irritate me a little.

No there`s 2 types of rugby

Rugby Union is the more popular , you have 15 players and you can make as many tackles as you like.

In Rugby League you have 13 players and you also only have 6 tackles , on the last tackle you have to kick the ball or surrender possession to the opposing team.
There are also no line outs like there are in rugby union so you don`t get players hoofing the ball into touch to gain territory like you do in rugby union , so it`s down to the skill of the players to get the ball forward and less stoppages ,which is why I prefer watching it.
