Well, somebody had to fill the position. We cant have a vacant Secretary of State. And how does Condoleeza Rice being good friends with Bush (her boss) hurt anything? If anything its a good thing.

Liberman won't get the democrat nomination because not only does he have republican support but democrat dissaproval. He might run independent which would be very interesting.

republicans basically have no other major players than McCain/Gulianni. Democrats have an open field with Clinton, Lieberman, Obama, Casey, Kerry, Edwards, Gore, and of course the fringe groups swith Sharpton, Jackson, etc. (not to imply that African Americans are a fringe group).

I don't know why we're racking our brains trying to figure out who the next president might be.
we all know it won't be a republican so the list of candidates just narrows.
