Who have you met?
Any famous singers/bands? And who would you like to meet?
I've met Latvian band Prāta Vētra a few times (there is many fan meetings here). Russian band Му́мий Тро́лль (If this band are in Latvia I will always meet with them! I had an invite to an after party once, it was amazing!) Also I've been very close to Russian band t.A.T.u. I'd like to meet band Bi-2. |

Took a piss next to ex Marillion vocalist Fish
Oh and Paul Young bought some land off my grandmother to build a studio. Thankfully he ran out of funds & never finished it

Thom Yorke and radiohead
Supergrass Shaun Ryder Bez John Power (we broke the fire exit of a venue and crept in the back. he was so impressed that he invited us to stay and provided us with beer and spliffs - which seemed pretty cool as i was fairly young). The Bluetones Jarvis cocker x2 (one of the times i walked into him and he spilt tea down his shirt) The Chemical Brothers (bumped into them at a gig an hour and a half before we jumped in a cab and went across town to see them at another venue!) Dozens of smaller britpoppy bands like Alabama 3, travis, the boo radleys, the beta band, ash, catatonia, salad, elastica, gene, sleeper, echobelly etc etc all mainly from the nineties when I was going to gigs every week. I guess that apart from the fact that most of the bands were smaller, the security was also more relaxed and the venues tended to be shitter than thesedays ( ie - we were often able to talk our way in or break/sneak backstage)

that was a pretty cool one, and actually we met them again in an audience a couple of years later. it was pretty bizarre the first time. we were going to two gigs that night: Marion and the chemical brothers, and the last people we expected to see in the audience at Marion were the chemical brothers. we all had a bit of a laugh about that, and if I remember rightly we agreed to share a cab with them across town if we saw them after Marion had finished. we didn't see them again though, until they were on stage.
it was a fucking ace gig as well. It was on a pier in Portsmouth in 1994 and the damn thing felt as though it would fall over!
