Anonymous Confessions

This is an idea that I am completely stealing from another forum I post on, but it is very popular there so why not.

I bet you've got a deep, dark secret. We all do. Wouldn't it be cathartic to tell "the world" about it, without "the world" being able to connect it back to you? That's where the MB Anonymous Confessional comes in! Go to any anonymous email site (one is http://www.anonymousspeech.com) and email your confession from there to mbconfessional@gmail.com. I will post anything I receive there in this thread without making any indication of where it is from. It does not log your IP, and there will be no way of tracing your words back to you. The one thing I ask is that we don't bullshit each other. This is a very easy way to make things up, but please, just don't.

Ready.... Set.... Go!

MoonlitSunshine 09-03-2006 03:26 PM

you first :p:

bungalow 09-03-2006 03:27 PM

It sufficently defeats the purpose if we do it in a public order, doesn't it?

MoonlitSunshine 09-03-2006 03:28 PM

It was a joke. Sheesh.

bungalow 09-03-2006 03:38 PM

So when are you guys going to loosen up and send me some emails?
right-track, you've been alive what, 55 or so years? You've got to have something.

right-track 09-03-2006 03:40 PM

55 years?!?

If I told you...you'd be dead now.

MoonlitSunshine 09-03-2006 03:42 PM

Aww what?? you have to register and everything? WAAY too much trouble, even if i had an embarrassing problem I wanted to share.

bungalow 09-03-2006 03:44 PM

Dude, you think of a username, and password, and your current e mail address.
You don't have to confirm your account, no Name, Age, DOB, zip code, none of that.

MoonlitSunshine 09-03-2006 03:45 PM

pffff. I'm off to bed. Screw this.

Spike*Spiegel 09-03-2006 04:22 PM

hey, you were supposed to make that thread where the three dummies can post who theyd ban. go do it. i want to see what they say.

Our first confession.
I have a friend from school that did something similar, HUGE mistake on his part.

right-track 09-03-2006 04:57 PM

Jesus...3 grand.
Does it say if the father knows that amount is missing?

bungalow 09-03-2006 04:58 PM

Nope, that's all I got.
Feel free to send your confessions guys.

mosesandtherubberducky 09-03-2006 05:16 PM

I bet I know where at least 70% of the confessionals are going to come from.

Spike*Spiegel 09-03-2006 05:17 PM

at your site, a new person, uses the name foxy1983 at a few other sites, including a sex one, where she has posted photos of herself naked.

She's a mean person and is mentally unstable. She is nice and sweet now....but wait until she gets in one of her moods.
I said I'd post 'em all. This one is strange...

Spike*Spiegel 09-03-2006 07:16 PM

I steal money from donation bins at my work. I know how the cameras are set up so I've mastered how to move things around pocket a few bills nightly. The cause is stupid anyway. Its only been a few hundred as of yet, but I dont plan on stopping.
Haha, you are a horrible person.

_Spinning_ 09-03-2006 09:46 PM

That's crazy.

DearJenny 09-03-2006 09:52 PM

By chance did you get this idea form the Something Awful forums? They absolutely LOVE anonymous confessions and they get some real crazy ones. Like pet murders and threesomes at work. Most are lying though I bet you.

bungalow 09-03-2006 09:53 PM

Nah, I got it from the non-prophets forum.

DearJenny 09-03-2006 10:06 PM

^what? What if its like a Katrina fund or for autistic children?

bungalow 09-03-2006 10:06 PM

Maybe they'll email me again and tell me what its for.

Raine 09-03-2006 10:07 PM

this is somewhat retarded why don't we just post our own confessions here?

I've got one:

I did paint sections of the bathroom at my school and only got away with it because of lack of proof.

i have flashed people in order to get into concerts for free. so there.

bungalow 09-03-2006 10:08 PM

Well, if it is something that you are ashamed of, or that you don't want out, it would be better to mail it to me.

DearJenny 09-03-2006 10:08 PM

^because I like guessing who it is.

edir: to raine

i'm not too ashamed.
hell i'd do it again if it necessary or felt like doing it again.

although it's been awhile since i've flashed somebody (regardless of the reason)

as for stealing. . . . . yeah. . . . . I've done that before. And I'm not ashamed of it. The way I see it if your security is bad that I can get a way with stealing something then i deserve to keep it and you should up your security.

autistic children are some of the best kids ever. don't talk much, don't touch you and if they leave you alone why the hell would you bother?

as for katrina victims. .. raise money and mail to individual victims or in some way get it to them. it's a lot better off in their pockets then in some building where some guy that monitors it can easily steal it

stealing is morally wrong in my opinion but the fact is there are theives out there and if you have something valuable that you don't want stolen, up the security or keep it close to your heart.

Are you serious?
Just because I can blow your head off and you can't stop it doesn't mean I should.

and that is the degree od theft to which I don't approve of.
murder is a form of stealing.

but in reality I don't necessarily support theft. It promotes bad karma and increases the liklihood of bad things happen to you later on in life

swim 09-03-2006 10:38 PM

Karma is a dumb reason not to something wrong or maybe by dumb I mean selfish. What about it's just damn wrong.

I was raised into buddhism so for me it's a very good reason not to do a lot of things

swim 09-03-2006 10:42 PM

That's great. You missed the point.

under 09-03-2006 10:47 PM

I have a very odd confession.

I ruined my mom's 2000 dollar computer and blaimed it on my brother. I still feel guilty for it.
