I am yet to fail (UK exams)
So, today was the AS and A2 exam results. Some people know whether they're into their Universities or not, others will know how much they need to work for the following year.
I got a C - Psychology, B - Sociology and B - History in my ASs, so I'll need to pull each of them up a grade in the following year to be satisfied and get into the Uni I want (I think, I forget the requirements). That said it's a lot better than I expected so I'm satisfied. How has everyone else done? |
What's sociology?
|
Sociology is the study of society, the way that people act and interact within society and the things that influence them in their actions. There are lots of famous, detailed theories which people have put forward and which are much more difficult to prove or disprove than those in the sciences... so there's plenty for sociology students to discuss.
What are you planning to study at uni, Fal? (you're name's Sam, right?) |
Yeah, my names Sam. I'm planning to study Politics at Uni. Not too sure where I'll take it, maybe get a career in the media. To be fair though, University is about the parties, not the learning ;)
