and my dad wasn't in the military. My oldest sister was. and I go to korea during most spring breaks if I can't get out of it. and i try to go to spain for at least one week every year. and let's not mention the fact that I've traveled ouside of the the US to go to concerts. And I've spent most summers up until I was 12 outside of the us for the most part. as of next week i'm gonna be in japan until school starts unless I can get out of spending obon with my family. At any rate, what's the sudden interest in my life?

i hardly think that traveling out of the US for a concert means you have to forget how to speak english.

He's making the point that you've had more than enough time to pick up the English language and using the "it's not my second language" to justify your lack of ability to read is bull****. He's not asking for a life story.

I traveled/moved around the world because for the most part i didn't have a choice. and my sister was in the us military. air force. and no she wasn't born in america. and i'm not answering any more of your questions as I find that now you're bordering on the edge of things I'd rather not discuss.

Hmm, so you were born here.
Have lived here the majority of your life. And have family members that have served in the military in this country. It is not a fluke that you have American citizenship, you are a full-fledged American. Considering our national language is English, I would assume that you have had plenty of time to learn to speak and fully comprehend the language. Can you agree with that? |

And yes, I have lived here long enough to comprehend the language. But the only time I ever use english is when I'm here, someimes when I'm at school, and most of the time when i talk to my boyfriend. I only had two jobs in america where I had to use english and even then it wasn't really necessary. And I was born early. My mom came to america to visit a friend she'd met in college and shortly after the plane ride she gave birth. Sounds like a fluke to me
