The only thing stopping me from having kids at the moment is the fact that I smoke. Smoking could do damagae to the child. And my weight issues. I'd like to gain at least another four lbs so before I get pregnanat or find outt hat I'm pregnant.
And my doctor says I'm perfectly healthy and aside fromt he cigarettes I'm fine to have a baby. Chances of me dying are slim. No one in my family has died whhile in labor,, no diseases that could keep me from having a safe pregnancy or anything like that.

I've seen happy families before adn the result of good parenting as well as bad parenting.
If I were to ever raise a child I think I know enough about being a good parent and my experiences with bad parentiong to make the right decisions concerning the welfare of my child.
However I will agree, sometimes me and my child or my child and it's father will have their differences. It's natural. Like any other relationship there are bound to be arguements. These things happen.
And I'd be a little worried about my kids if they never asked me about drugs or why they can't smoke at whatever age they are even though I smoked at that age.

Your 16. PLus smoking stops most people from gaining weight.. because when there hungry they go have a smoke instead of eating all the time. So stop smoking, gain weight = have child.

Your 16. if you can go without having a child for a few more years, then why don't you? I mean really sometimes girls get knocked up when there teenagers.. but most times they don't try to. Try being as grown up as you can before you TRY to have a child.. because you may think your all grown up now.. emotionally.. but I'm willing to bet you can still be a imature little brat.. Brats don't need to have there own brats until there grown up.

Sixteen or not, it's always good to know your health status and get checked up. And I lose or gain weight the seasons. literally.

My mom's the one that took me to get the check up. She helped answer most of the questions. My boyfriend isn't quite ready to have kids for a few more years

I am already being as grown as I can. And I imagine that when I'm 21 I'll still be paying bills, living with someone, have a job, and going to school, same as I am now
Anyone can be an immature brat. There are a lot of adults that don't act their age and act no better than a little kid.

I have no desire to argue my point. As this will still be my phobia at the end of the night.

Then don't argue it.. But I honestly hope that it stays so much a phobia for you that you hold off for a long time...

like I said you may think your as grown up as you can be.. but you'll see in 10 more years just how much more mature you will be. Just because you pay bills and live with your boyfriend doesn't make you grown up..

how old are you? Well I'll guess by your nickname that your really young. So your like any normal person at any age. I do believe almost everyone has this fear at least 3 times in there life time; more so after they''ve just gotten out of a relationship, when he/she thinks they'll never find anyone ever again, that, that person was it.. there soul mate..

I just wouldn't worry to much about it, you'll find someone.. or he'll find you.

It screams bad idea dragging a kid into a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship, are you even thinking about how this kid will grow up?

I'm gonna email this post to my mom.

As for me living with my boyfriend. It makes me a little dependent on him for certain things yeah. But the alternative is i could go back to living by myself which would be a lot boring. Although I imagine a lot cheaper as well. . .

damn. this post is really priceless.

You have no idea what my family is like. But if you did, you'd know why your post seemed funny to me as it will my mom as soon as she reads it.
I'm actually tempted to call her ont he phone and get on her comp.

At any rate, I've almost always wanted a kid. It's something of a goal of mine.
And I'm a rather goal oriented person.
However I realize I can not have a kid at the stage of life I'm at now. But maybe after I graduate from high shcool in a few about a year, I'll move that goal date up.
